David Shields, the founder who started Zippykind in 2017, has personally flown around the country to spend time on the ground with the personnel who keep our economy moving. From pharmacy techs and medical couriers to independent restaurants, prepaid meal services, grocery stores, and florists, David has stood in warehouses, worked alongside operators, and ridden with delivery drivers. His goal was simple: to fully understand the unique, daily friction points across every vertical we serve. This firsthand experience is why Zippykind ships more features than any competing delivery platform, and why those features solve the exact, nuanced headaches that generic delivery software expects you to just suffer through.

Because of this hands-on foundation, we've built deep trust with a massive variety of businesses, from independent couriers to massive regional suppliers, who still rely on Zippykind as their ultimate last-mile delivery solution. We know many of our earliest users on a first-name basis because their early feedback served as the bedrock of our logistics platform.

Yet, even with all our growth across these diverse industries, it's incredibly rare for a SaaS company to be able to say they still retain their very first customer, that first user ID issued in the database. But not for Zippykind. That's right: our very first user, Spedale's Florist, still uses Zippykind today, nearly a decade later.

That first user is not a row in a database to us. He is a florist in Louisiana who picked up the phone in 2017 and told us what was broken, and the features he asked for are still in the platform you would sign up for today.
